Are you ready to meet the minimum EPC requirements?
ABC Energy reports can liaise with your agent or tenant directly to arrange your energy assessment. Once our visit has taken place, the EPC will be lodged onto the goverment database and we will provide copies of the report to all relevant parties.
EPC's are valid for 10 years, your EPC rating may be inaccurate if you have had any remedial works carried out to your property since your last EPC was completed (New boiler, insulation, lighting installations for example)
The government are aiming to bring in new legislation to ensure that all rental properties meet a minimum EPC rating of 'C' by 2028 - the first step to improving your rating should be to have an EPC assessment carried out to see how you can improve your rating if required.
We can also assist in making arrangements for contractors to quote and carry out works that may be required to improve the property EPC rating.
